As the dominant asset class for many investors, in particular most UK pension funds, it is essential to know exactly what risks equities pose, whether or not these risks are well rewarded and how equities can be analysed and ultimately managed.
This module considers the historic and prospective risk-and-return characteristics of equities, the key fundamental and technical valuation techniques and the methodologies behind active and passive equity fund management, and concludes by asking whether equities still have a role to play in the asset mix?
Benefits of attending these sessions: you should come away with a good understanding of the key risk-and-return characteristics of equities and how equities can be valued and managed.
